Rhytons / The virtual museum of Iran’s ancient / Videos

Here are some recreating ancient vessels named Rhyton.
I made them in 2016 for a personal project (The virtual museum of Iran’s ancient)
And now I start to print them with the 3D printer. I am looking to touch them again from the heart of history.

I used some pictures to rebuilt ancients of Iran that are maintained in different museums all over the world. These pieces are done by ZBrush and shown in the Iranian Artists Forum for one month in 2016. The exhibition contained 81 videos of pieces which were presented on 9 TV. Also, there was another TV which was showing the working process for introducing ZBrush to the viewer.

A rhyton /ˈraɪˌtɒn, ˈraɪtən/ (plural rhytons or, following the Greek plural, rhyta) is a roughly conical container from which fluids were intended to be drunk or to be poured in some ceremony or merely at the table. They are typically formed in the shape of an animal's head and were produced over large areas of ancient Eurasia, especially from Persia to the Balkans. Many have an opening at the bottom through which the liquid fell; others did not and were merely used as drinking cups, with the characteristic that they could not usually be set down on a surface without spilling their contents.
